Cleaned up my blog and The Simpsons.

August 4, 2007

The Simpsons Movie is really great. I would
suggest seeing it even if you don’t like the show. It’s really not for younger kids though (animated “bountiful penis” all censored till one ironic part).
It touches on many family themes, but never ever stops the humor. “Alaska, where you can never be too fat or too drunk!”
I [...]

YouOS, my new solution?

July 12, 2007

It may just be perfect. YouOS, a
web-based operating system, is my dream come true. It’s very easy to use, has a *nix-like filesystem, and can be used from any internet connected computer.
With a plethora of available apps, great customization, and obvious portability, it’s amazing.
I’m using “YouBrowser” to post here. Behaving well for a web-based browser. [...]

Harry Potter and the Questionable Country Song

July 12, 2007

Today, I went to see Harry Potter and the
Order of the Phoenix. I must say, director David Yates did much better than the other directors did in the previous flicks. The acting is top-caliber, as usual, and with great special effects.
Of course, as with all Harry movies, it was too short and not detailed enough. [...]

Yippee-ki-yay, Mothertuxer!

July 10, 2007

So, I just went to see Live Free or Die Hard and
I loved it. It’s over-the-top, violent, sarcastic, and funny! It’s got a great script, engrossing story, and interesting plot twists. I loved it so much, I found myself doing Parkour (which was featured in the movie) to get to and from the crapper [...]

Edward Scissorbop and guitar lessons

July 3, 2007

So… Last night I
watched the 1990 Tim Burton masterpiece, Edward Scissorhands, for my first time. I was at a loss for words. It was absolutely beautiful. The acting, story, direction, effects, the whole shebang. Amazing.
I loved the music in there. Time Burton (who works so well with Johnny Depp) always gets the best composers. [...]

Evan Almighty is Alrighty!

Evan Almighty Movie Review
On a lighter note than the below post, I went to see Evan Almighty. I would like to say…
Evan Almighty is a fun family flick with hilarity on high, awesome acting, a magnificent message, and plenty of dreadful dancing!
I loved the movie, probably more than Bruce Almighty. Steve Carell adds another sterling [...]

DSL – The Operating System

June 29, 2007

“DSL” Review
Hello people,
I am here reviewing the DSL (Damn Small linux, a name which I d not like, so will refer to as DSL. It’s also censored as Demi Size Linux) LiveCD Linux OS.
Initial Impressions
I write this in said OS as a fair evaluation. I am in the FireFox browser. A problem I see in [...]

Wayside TV Show Review

June 26, 2007

Nickelodeon has a new show out. It’s called “Wayside”, and is supposedly based on Louis Sachar’s Sideways Stories From Wayside School series. (It’s on at half past noon EST, every weekday.)
I just watched the premiere. It was nowhere near as good as the books (and I’ve read them all). The characters were just…I [...]
